WRITER, PRODUCER, DIRECTOR, Joshua Koszewski

Throughout his five years of service in the U.S. Army, Joshua learned valuable lessons in leadership and pursuing what you're passionate about.

After deploying as a U.S. Army Sniper to Afghanistan and leading an infantry team with the Ohio National Guard Joshua enrolled in undergrad and later graduate school. While obtaining his MBA, he co-founded an app called Ossemble, that was dedicated to community organizing. Josh led the app through several milestones such as a product launch, joining a tech investment incubator, and obtaining pilot customers.

Later, moving to Austin, TX, Josh began pursuing comedy through improv/sketch classes and writing courses. That all came to a halt in early 2020, due to Covid lockdowns. Without a missing a beat Josh enrolled in online filmmaking classes with Austin Film Society, with the ultimate goal of building a collaborative team that could turn his sketch into an award winning film.

Today, Josh continues to dabble in every aspect of filmmaking all while maintaining his passion for leading creative teams. He is currently working on directing his second comedic short as well as producing two feature films in 2022.

Josh is a first-time filmmaker, who self-funded Millennial Tiny House USA!
